Magnetek’s new crane drive simulation software is a Windows-based PC program that allows you to program the functions of a drive.

You can easily experience how a drive works right on your computer. This valuable training and troubleshooting tool is an affordable alternative to purchasing a product demo model.  A variety of drive capabilities can be experienced, including:

• Programming a drive using a keypad interface
• Running the drive using a pendant station
• Monitoring input/output status
• Programming/executing special functions within the drive such as auto-tuning
• Simulate motor loading
• Chart/view performance characteristics
• Simulate alarms/faults
• View/edit parameter settings

The drive simulation software demonstrates the features of our IMPULSE®•G+/VG+ Series 3 Drives and our new IMPULSE®•G+ Mini Drive.

Drive Simulation Software System Requirements:

• Operating System: Windows XP or higher (32-bit or 64-bit)
• Processor Speed:  Pentium class or equivalent 500 MHz or higher
• System Memory:  1 GB RAM
• Hard Drive Space: 25 MB available disk space
• Video (Monitor and Graphics Card): VGA or higher with a minimum resolution of 1024 x 768
• Additional Requirements: Mouse or other pointing device; Windows-compatible inkjet or laser printer for printing of reports; internet connection to download software updates and access email; e-mail with messaging application programming interface (MAPI) to e-mail reports
