New IMPULSE® Link 4.0 Interactive Drive Software Available

 

MENOMONEE FALLS, WI—January 20, 2003—Magnetek's Electromotive Systems division today introduced their new IMPULSE Link 4.0 Interactive Drive Software. IMPULSE Link 4.0 was designed to communicate with the IMPULSE G+, VG+ and P3 Series 2 Crane controls. The user-friendly Windows-based interactive drive software allows you to:

• Upload and download drive parameters
  
• Adjust drive parameters online or offline
  
• Program from a keypad display on your PC
  
• View and print detailed or compact drive parameters
  
• View complete parameter descriptions
  
• Monitor parameters and drive status
  
• Compare drive parameters
  
• Display all parameters that are not factory default
  
• Convert IMPULSE Link 3.0 or P3S2 Link to IMPUSE Link 4.0 files automatically
  
• Upload, Open, Save and Print from non-Electromotive software using a Yaskawa Standard database
  
• Save parameters to a different parameter file to create a new parameter
