Power Controls today introduced the
availability of a complete line of
heavy-duty disc brakes designed for the most
demanding high-speed, high-performance
applications. Magnetek's Mondel brand 400D
Disc Brakes feature heavy-duty steel
construction, superior components, and
advanced design features, including external
torque spring, auto-adjust, and
auto-equalization. They are designed with
proven, high- performance electro-hydraulic
Hy-Thrust™ Actuators that incorporate a
mechanically isolated hydraulic pumping unit
to insure no fluid contamination of the
motor stator. These severe duty disc brakes
are designed to be easy to service and
maintain. Mondel 400D Disc Brakes may be
customized to meet specific application
needs, and are ideal for applications
requiring optimal performance, reliability
and durability.
Magnetek's Mondel Brake product range also
includes general-purpose industrial shoe
brakes, AISE-NEMA rated mill duty shoe
brakes for use in harsh environments, and
the "brake-by-wire" Braketronic™ System,
which provides adjustable torque control to
Mondel Hy-Thrust™ Operated Shoe or Disc
Brakes.
Mondel Brakes are manufactured at Magnetek
Power Controls Mississauga, Ontario
facility, which also handles Canadian sales
